Haj Amin al Husseini

Haj Amin al Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, was the Moslem religious leader of Jerusalem’s Muslim community and of those Moslems living in the land of Israel during the early years of the British Mandate. During WWII, he moved to Berlin where he became an intimate of Adolph Hitler. He was also one of Adolph Eichmann’s close friends and colleagues.

From Berlin, Haj Amin broadcast to the Arab world in support of the Nazis, and against the Allies. He preached hatred for the Jewish people. He actively raised Moslem troops for the SS - the Skanderbeg & Handschar Divisions - from Bosnia to fight with the Nazis in the Balkans. In a letter to the Nazi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1944, while the German extermination camps were murdering hundreds of thousands of Jews, he asked that the Nazis take the “necessary steps to stop the Jews from emigrating." Al Husseini managed to escape Germany. After being welcomed by King Farouk to post war Egypt, he took up residence in Lebanon. From there, he carried on his anti-Jewish and anti-Israel activities, until his death in 1974.

Mahmoud Abbas cannot stop praising this Nazi. Widely known for his Holocaust denying pseudo-historical PhD., written for his former Marxist handlers in Communist Russia, he has officially endorsed Haj Amin al Husseini. In a precedent setting public speech in Gaza , Abbas said, "We must...recall the outstanding leader of the Palestinian people...the Grand Mufti of Palestine-Haj Mohamed Amin al -Husseini who sponsored the struggle from the beginning..."

In his autobiography Haj Amin wrote:

"Our fundamental condition for cooperating with Germany was a free hand to eradicate every last Jew from Palestine and the Arab World. I asked Hitler for an explicit undertaking to allow us to solve the Jewish people in a manner befitting our national and racial aspirations and according to the scientific methods innovated by Germany in the handling of its Jews. The answer I got was, 'the Jews are yours.'"

There can be no solution to the Israeli Arab conflict until Arabs in Arab and Islamic countries, recognize and atone for the active participation of Palestinian leader Haj Amin al Husseini in the Nazi war effort. There can be no peace without truth.
